WHEN THE FLAME HAS DIED AWAY
AND YOU'RE UPON YOUR DARKEST DAY
WHEN THE BRIDGES HAVE ALL BURNED
AND YOUR ENEMIES HAVE NEVER LEARNED
YOU'VE GOT TO FIND THE LIGHT WITHIN
AND KEEP FIGHTING FIGHT TO WIN
AND KEEP THE STRENGTH UNTIL THE VERY END
NEVER RETREAT NEVER SURRENDER
YOU CAN LIVE A LIFE OF SPLEDOR
TAKE HOLD OF THAT WINNERS EDGE
AND FIGHT UNTIL THE VERY END
WHEN YOUR HOPES ARE DASHED AWAY
AND YOU'RE UPON YOUR DARKEST DAY
AND IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE AGAIN
YOU'VE GOT TO FIND THE STRENGTH WITHIN
AND KEEP FIGHTING FIGHT TO WIN!
AND KEEP FIGHTING UNTIL THE VERY END
THERE ARE THOSE WHO WILL DRAG YOU DOWN
TO THEIR LIES YOU CAN'T BE BOUND
BE LIKE A PILLAR AND DO NOT BEND
NEVER RETREAT NEVER SURRENDER
YOU CAN LIVE A LIFE OF SPLENDOR
TAKE HOLD OF THAT WINNERS EDGE
AND FIGHT UNTIL THE VERY END
WHEN YOU'RE DOWN AND LOST IN THE COLD
AND THE BATTLE IS GETTING OLD
PULL TOGETHER AND YOU MUST BE BOLD
LIVE WITH PASSION AND MAKE YOUR WAY
YOU ARE THE VOICE TO MAKE A SAY
LIVE THE DREAMS WITHIN YOU ONCE FORETOLD
NEVER RETREAT NEVER SURRENDER
YOU HAVE THAT LIFE OF SPLENDOR

I like this one as much as I like the first one, and I like Utopia quite a bit! Quality proggish Trad, great singing, not wanky, and even some Tolkien. Great! Tim McLelland

The artwork and title might mislead you to thinking this is a goofy album. Don't be fooled. It is some seriously beautiful art-rock progressive metal. On the current scene, I think of bands like IQ and Porcupine Tree, and like those bands, HoC draws in classic 70s prog influences in a completely modern and non-retro way. MindOverFour

Hades have raised and now we have Apokalyps, a mix of chaotic scenarios but not less heavier, thrashy and powerful, a perfect cocktail for the end of days.
Luckily there will be another day to play this album MediZen
The Indonesian act Kekal leaves no genre unturned, colliding black metal with industrial music with melodic post-rock on this stunning LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 25, 2023

I just discovered this band. All aspects are exceptional: vocals, instruments, composition. If I had to say what it sounds like, I would say a more metal Kansas, with Queen like guitar parts, and Blind Guardian-like sense of orchestration and story telling. The connection to 70s prog (in a lot of aspects) makes this such an enjoyable journey. MindOverFour
